I need a family friendly place to stay not far from the Ryan Center. Any ideas? Hopefully not too low end.

The Holiday Inn is really the only ';large-scale'; hotel close to URI, and probably your best bet. If you want to explore other options, go to southcountyri.com and click on the ';places to stay'; option, then select South Kingstown. There are a number of B%26amp;Bs listed close to URI.
