Newport for 2 days with a 9-month old?

Any suggestions on places to stay that aren%26#39;t too outlandish?

We%26#39;re looking to head there for a couple days in the middle of the week of August 12-18. May head for a ride up to Maine for a day or so as well, but would like to be based in Newport since it seems to be pretty centrally located in NE.

Hi, Im heading down the first week in aug- w/ a 13 mth old.... A little nervous..Im chking out hotels rather than B+B...(viking, hyatt, marriot)..We would like more than one room- a little adjoing so we could put her crib someplace without her seeing us..She will never fal asleep if she sees us...
