Sailing into Newport w/ 22 year old daughters, looking for fun (safe)places for them to hang out in the evenings...any suggestions

Well it depends what you consider safe. Newport is pretty much safe everywhere- there really aren%26#39;t any clubs or bars they wouldn%26#39;t be safe in- there is a lot of college age drunkeness after the bars close which is early 1 am I think, and/or at parties. I guess its either that or hanging out at Starbucks.

The Landing, The Dockside, The Pelham (Also upstairs at the Pelham is more of a dance club) The Rhino Bar and Mamba Room, O%26#39;Briens

Older Crowd (30 + somethings)

West Deck, Clarke Cooke House, Black Pearl, 5th Element , Smoke House, Newport Blues Cafe, Sambar

Outdoor places:

O%26#39;Briens, West Deck, Smoke House, Black Pearl, Landing, Mooring

There is PLENTY of safe places for 22 year old girls to hang out.....just use common sense like you would anywhere else.
