Hello.......
My boyfriend and I are going to Newport this weekend and are looking for fun/nice outdoors bars or places to eat. Any place with a view of the water would be great but it isn%26#39;t necessary. Also, we%26#39;re looking for a fun place to go on saturday night (we%26#39;re mid 20s but not but clubbers). Thanks!

Should be a nice weekend...
For waterview dinig:
The Mooring (Mainly Seafood, but other things as well)
22 Bowan%26#39;s (Steak/Wine restaurant, but outside dining menu at the ';Portside'; is more casual and less expensive.
Black Pearl has an outdoor patio for light/casual food
Clark Cooke House has some water views from their porch tables
H2O great water views, (haven%26#39;t really tried the food) hidden in the back of a small row of shops just off Thames
Pier 49 outdoor dining at the Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina
The Landing (Next door to the Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina)
West Deck further down thames on Brown and Howard Wharf has some outdoor casual tables

The Black Pearl Patio, and you must have the clam chowder
22 Bowen%26#39;s right next to the Black Pearl
West Deck
Mooring
Pineapples at the Hyatt Hotel, little secret in Newport, but away from the bustle and people-watching that is fun in downtown.
O%26#39;Briens if you don%26#39;t need a water view.
Nightlife:
Pelham for live music leaning toward rock
Blues Cafe for live music
Black Pearl patio. No entertainment, but almost never a line and a good crowd.
The tent at West Deck is fun also.
Tiki bar at Salvation Cafe
