Bailey Beach in Newport

Has anyone been here? I just one to find out what beaches are clean and with tides. We don%26#39;t like flat beach. We would like to be able to do a little surfing.

Bailey%26#39;s Beach is a Private Beach on Ocean Drive....very exclusive, and does not have much wave action.

For Surfing, your best bet from the beach would be out near Second Beach in Middletown.

There can also be surfing found at First Beach in Newport at times, but usually 2nd Beach is more consistent.

If there is a storm out in the ocean, legendary (For NE standards) waves will pop up out off Ledge Road and the Breakers (Cliff Walk area...) Not much of a beach there, but very rocky.

Surfers end is the ';only'; good place to surf in Middletown. MMO is talking about the the same beach. Surfers end is the first beach that you come to before 2nd. beach. good luck!
