ferry reservations

Hi,

Do you think I need reservations for the slow ferry from Pt. Judith for return trip on a Sunday (7/22)? I am not sure what time we want to leave so I am hesitant to make an online reservation as it says the tickets cannot be exchanged so I don%26#39;t want to be stuck with a specific time. However, I also don%26#39;t want to be stuck all day waiting to get on an available ferry if they book up.

Thoughts?

If you are traveling with the car then you should get a reservation. Otherwise you can always go on standby. If you are not boarding with a car then you can wait till that day to get your tickets, just dont wait till the last minute. Sundays in the summer are an arrival or departing day for summer renters, so it will be busier then weekdays.
