I inadvertently made air travel reservations to Providence from Friday to Sunday on Columbus Day Weekend and am now finding it difficult to find B%26amp;Bs that will allow a two night stay that weekend. I have been advised I could wait until last minute to see if any are available, but am not comfortable doing that. Any advice? Are there historic Inns that might allow two nights?

Check out the beautiful historic Edgewood Manor or the Charles Newhall House they are wonderful inns with in walking distance to Roger Williams Park and Zoo.

bedandbreakfastblackstone.com lists places to stay in the Blackstone Valley as well as the opportunity to sleep on an authuntic British Canal Boat on the Blackstone River....and Block Island is always wonderful in October as all the tourists go away!
