Can anyone recommend a B %26amp; B that is close to the Cliff Walk. My sister and I are going to Newport next week and would like to stay within walking distance. Have been trying the Cliffside Inn all day but no answer. We need two beds...love my sister ...not enough to share bed:) Any suggestions?

The Hydrangea House is located near the entrance of Cliff Walk. The Reed Rose Cottage is near there as well, and got some great reviews back in June on this site. Good luck.

There is one room that has 2 twin beds (The Beatrice Room)
That might be a slight problem if you%26#39;re set on a B%26amp;B....finding 2 beds.
If you%26#39;re not on any sort of budget, the Chanler is right at the start of the Cliff Walk....though quite pricey.

As mentioned, The Hydranga house is nice (although I wouldn%26#39;t say it%26#39;s near the Cliff Walk entrance....you could walk to it, but it%26#39;s on Bellevue) There are plenty of other Inn%26#39;s/Hotels near there which would have 2 beds, Viking Hotel, Hilltop Inn, Bellevue Manor, Newport Blues Inn just to name a few.
If you can%26#39;t find anything right near the Cliffwalk, you could always take the trolley from downtown. You can also walk to it from pretty much anywhere downtown, you would just need to factor that into your time/distance that you want to stay out walking.....but you can walk to it.
And you already know about the Cliffside Inn....strange that they aren%26#39;t answering the phone....
