I am looking for a normal breakfast type spot to catch breakfast off the ferry not a bed and breakfast establishment since we will be in ';beach'; clothing. any suggestions??

saw the OAR mentioned..is it anygood?

The OAR is in New Harbor - unless you are taking the Fast Ferry from PT judith, you will likely be arriving in Old Harbor.

Try Aldo%26#39;s - casual, very close to ferry.. it%26#39;s on the street behind the main street you dock at. Darned if I can remember how the roads are lined up to tell you how to get there, but its very very close. Ask someone when you get there and they should be able to help.

Aldo%26#39;s would be the place to go. Get off the ferry, go across the parking lot and walk down along side of the store ';Building Blocks'; You will see a sign for The Ice Cream Place - Aldo%26#39;s is straight ahead across the street.

Another choice would be The Harborside Inn. Casual (even beach attire) atmosphere, and there is dining outside.
