Look into Westerly, RI. We have great beaches (Misquamicut Beach is the state beach here), lots of places to eat, and plenty of things for the kids to do.
Check out the Westerly/Pawcatuck Chamber of Commerce website and the Misquamicut Business Association website for more information.
Mystic, CT is 20 minutes away with the seaport, the aquarium, Olde Mystik Village shopping area, and the downtown area.
Westerly is great ,mystic,ct the battleship cove in fall river mass, the roger williams park and zoo they have water rides and a nice carousel, the childrens museum, and russian sub, are all in providence. I know those areas are great for children. We have stayed at the Charles Newhall House with our kids and also at the Edgewood Manor without them and we have had family stay at both inns a great location and both are beautiful inns. They were walking distance to Roger Williams Park and Zoo.
where is edgwood manor? is it in westerly?
Edgewood Manor is in Providence technically Cranston but I think half of the street is in Providence they are walking distance to Roger Williams Park and Zoo.
Edgewood Manor is nowhere near where the area we have been talking about. Check out the Tripadvisor history of person who mentioned it.
check out the original question Rhode Island Edgewood Manor is a walk away from Roger Williams Park and Zoo and a walk away from Narragansett Bay so what is the problem I Love Rhode Island?
