Has anyone seen the Anchor House recently. The reviews are all from 2003 and not so good. However, the chamber of commerce website says it was recently remodeled. Also, there seems to be some loose affiliation with the 1661or Manisses Hotel. My friends parents live on block island and recommended the Anchor House, as they know the owner. Anyone have a recent experience there?
The Anchor House
I visited about a year ago, and was very disappointed. There was no view, the car noise was loud, and my own bedroom had more charm. Would not recommend, even if the rooms were nicer.
