Weather and Accomodations

I would like to plan a girls weekend with my sister to Newport (it%26#39;s been 20 yrs) and tour the mansions again. What is the temperature during the middle of September as well as the middle of October. Does it rain a lot during this time? Also, does anyone know of a decent bed and breakfast that has two beds in the same room (not twins, at least doubles). Thanks so much for your help.

Weather and Accomodations

It%26#39;s New England, so it%26#39;s hard to predict, but for the most part, September %26amp; October are wonderful months to visit up here. But do be prepared and bring an umbrella or slicker and a light jacket. As for B%26amp;B%26#39;s, a good place to start is bbonline.com. From there, you can access individual B%26amp;B websites you%26#39;re interested in. Two double beds may be a challenge, but nose around in the site and see what you come up with.

Weather and Accomodations

What would you say the average temperture during the day and night are?

Weather.com will give you averages for any location. Above is for Newport. A fantastic time of year and Newport is still in high-gear with festivals, outdoor dining, harbor tours, etc.

www.GoNewport.com. Check out the calendar of events and also the B%26amp;B section that lists all the ones in Newport. You could also check out a reservation service that should be familiar with all the B%26amp;B%26#39;s.

www.TableHound.com for restaurants.

If you haven%26#39;t toured Astors%26#39; Beechwood make a point to do so. It just went on the market for sale and this may be your last chance. Rough Point is also new since the last time you were here.
