Fun for couple?

My husband and I, in our 40%26#39;s are visiting early August. Are there any fun spots you can recommend. Looking for dancing/entertainment etc.. Thanks.

Fun for couple?

I grew up in Neewport and am in my late 40%26#39;s. You might try the Newport Blues Cafe off of AMerica%26#39;s Cup Ave at the foot of Green St. If you are visiting in the first two weeks of August things may be crowded as the Folk Festival and Jazz festivals occur then. I will be in town the first weekend of August and am gearing up for the crowds. Parking may be a problem as well.

Try the fifth element for great cocktails and excellent steak tips. Another couple of nice options are 1- cocktails at Oceancliff and the top of the Hotel Viking - it is the highest place in Newport, and like Oceancliff has great views. Both are nice romantic spots to watch the sunset.
