Vanderbilt Residence Club or Mill St. Inn?

Is anyone familiar with either or both of these hotels in Newport,RI? Would appreciate hearing some feedback - tia.

Try the Hilltop Inn just stayed there beautiful Mill St Nice Vanderbuilt more a hotel size place

Try the Hilltop Inn just stayed there beautiful Mill St Nice Vanderbuilt more a hotel size place

Vanderbilt Hall is a time share property, recently converted from an unsuccessful hotel. Nice amenities, good location for walking downtown, but marginal staff services at best--like many timeshare situations.

Mill St. Inn is an older place, been around for about twenty years and is tired; not a lot of personality.

Neither one is bad, but there are lots better choices in Newport than those two.
