Best is obviously subjective (some like the ambiance of an old shack with picnic tables near the water, other like lots of claw meat others want cheap...etc) but La Forge Restaurant, right next to the Tennis Hall Of Fame has an excellent one.

Yesterday my husband had the lobster roll at the Black Pearl (actually it was on a croissant) but he said it was fantastic. I like the lobster roll at Flo%26#39;s. Flo%26#39;s is a beach shack and serves theirs on the traditional hot dog bun and only contains lobser meat (you can add your own mayo) and it is pretty cheap ($12.95 I think).

Great replies and I agree that there are many fantastic choices and ambiance should be one of the the deciding factors.

The Black Pearl does a great job and they have the outdoor patio which is great for people watching. It is only on the lunch menu.

I had Flo%26#39;s last week and it was good. Across from First Beach and very rustic, but a fun experience. You get in line, order your food, and go find a table. As I left Flo%26#39;s I saw a sign for 2 lobster rolls at the First Beach concession stand for the same price I just paid for one, but have never had the lobster roll there.
